Michael R. Jones, MD, FACOG
Dr. Michael Jones follows the line in his generations of medicine. He received his MD degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2004. Dr. Jones owns The Jones Center for Women’s Health and is Chief of Ob/Gyn at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
As Associate Chief Medical Officer for Quality and Patient Safety, Jones does not stop in providing his expertise to the community. As he Board Certified Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG), Dr. Jones is a Preceptor for many local colleges.
Dr Jones specializes in the Care of both high-risk and laparoscopic gynecological surgery. As he is committed to ensuring his legacy is left behind, he embraces his wife and daughters in the journey.
Olive Nkouaye Leke was born and raised in Cameroon, Central Africa. She is conversant in English and French. Mrs. Leke received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Buea, Cameroon in 2008. She also holds a Master’s of Biomedical Science degree in Bacteriology and Virology from the University of Yaoundé I, Cameroon in 2011.
Mrs. Leke is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She currently resides in Fayetteville with her husband and three boys.
Leke is committed to Women’s Health and advocates to empower women through health awareness throughout their lifetime. Outside of her dedicated career, her time consists of traveling, reading, cooking and spending time outdoors.
Connette P. McMahon, MD, FACOG
Dr. Connette McMahon is a North Carolina native who attained her MD degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed her specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Duke in 2004. She is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and trained in the full complement of the specialty, including traditional care and cutting-edge techniques.
As a chosen physician of Cape Fear Valley Medical, she peeks interest in women's Health including but not limited to, Non-invasive surgery, pediatric/adolescent gynecology, contraception, fertility and women’s health research studies. She has dedicated time in the Cumberland County area and extended to helping in the Health Department serving as a Vice Chair on the Board of Health.
As much as she has dedicated herself to her community and improving the lives of women, she does just as much efforts into being a wife and mother.
Penelope Zaiter, originally from the Dominican Republic, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Antillean Adventist University in Puerto Rico in 1998. She later earned a Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Florida. With over 23 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Penelope dedicated 10 years to delivery nursing and 6 years as a hospital administrative supervisor.
Passionate about women’s health and bilingual in English and Spanish, she connects effectively with her patients through cross-cultural communication. Her favorite aspect of her role is educating and counseling women on health, wellness, and the natural process of aging.
Penelope is happily married and a devoted mother of four. In her free time, she enjoys fitness, particularly weight training and coaching, and loves being outdoors, hiking, and traveling with her family. An enthusiastic cook, she enjoys preparing meals for family and friends and has a keen interest in anti-aging biohacking, believing in graceful aging from the inside out.
